In an exciting development, the Year 10 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) class at John Calvin Christian College in Armadale (under direction of their teacher mr. Bruce Huizinga and with Dave vanderWal and Julian Slobe as advisors) has taken on the challenge of building some BiblePress units for PNG!

A BiblePress is an electronic unit which is capable of hosting a website and which can be accessed from almost any electronic device enabled with wifi. Reformed literature is uploaded onto this device and then anyone can access the material, thus showing people in PNG the riches of the gospel.

In total twenty units will be built, but at this stage they are going to try to build five units, and focus on quality control. At its centre each BiblePress comprises a nifty electronic gizmo called a Raspberry Pi, or a RPi. These small devices are going to be programmed by the STEM class, tested and hopefully DV, commissioned in PNG.

Funding was made available due to your generous support for the project (mission.frcarmadale.com/projects/biblepress/)

This afternoon on his 75th birthday and a day before his wedding anniversary the Lord called home His servant and our friend Brother Jack De Vos. Jack was an original member of the PNG mission and served on the board till today. He also served as its chairman for a number of years. Prior to that he also was active in the Pinjarrah mission. With his passing the board looses many years of experience as well his wise council, friendly smile and encouraging words. We wish his wife, Ina, and there children, grandchildren & great grandchildren the comfort of our lord. Death is a pathway to eternal life where there is no more suffering or pain where we can live in perfection with our maker. We know that Jack and his family believe and confess this. ... Thoughts and prayers to the family xx

Thinking of the family at this sad time.

Condolences to the family

Sympathy on your loss..

Condolences

He will be greatly missed. He was passionate about mission and the expansion of the Gospel. He and Ina have been such a blessing in our lives and all who have served in Lae. May Ina and the family know the peace that comes from knowing Christ and the power of the resurrection! He has finished the race, kept the faith and there is now in store for him the crown of righteousness!

Mike and I send our condolences to Ina and the family. We so enjoyed having Jack and Ina in our home in Portland, Oregon years ago. May God's blessing continue to shine on the family.

Many members from the Free Reformed Churches in Australia have seen this video, which we prepared in our final weeks of our mission work in Papua New Guinea. However, some asked to have a video copy of it. So, if you know someone who couldn't make it to one of our presentations, could you please share this with them. Thank you.

We produced this video with tips and advice from our production manager of sorts, Julian Slobe. Thanks Julian. In order to keep it to a reasonable length we had to cut many interviews, and raw footage., etc. To my friends in PNG please forgive me/us if your interview or clip did not make it into this video.

This amateur video was crafted to showcase the Lord's church planting work in PNG through weak and dependent servants of His. May He be glorified through this video.

In Christ, Ian and Nadia Wildeboer
